Hello folks, time for one of my sporadic interruptions to your regularly (sort of) scheduled entertainment.
Firstly I finally finished This Side of Paradise by F Scott Fitzgerald
I found it to be a meandering, heady exploration of the soul of a young man called Amory Blaine. I drew so many comparisons between myself, my own search for self-awareness and my own flaws and Amory's that I couldn't help but fall in love with the story. Fitzgerald had effortlessly good prose but he brings that to a whole new level in This Side of Paradise.
I've been even flakier than usual in the last three weeks when it comes to this blog. To be fair I was pretty sick and then not in the country then last week I was playing catch up with university work. Hopefully I'll be all caught up next week.
I've been writing more again recently. I suppose all the extra reading I've been doing for the GoodReads challenge and my Booket list has me thinking about the kind of books I want to write and the ideas I want to leave behind me.
Don't forget to be awesome.
